Early one morning, a few weeks before Christmas, Pat and Althea were sitting in their breakfast room having a cup of coffee. Both were thinking about how quiet Christmas was going to be this year.
So they decided to call Santa at the North Pole and ask him what they could do.
Santa said thank you for calling me so early in the morning. This year has been an extra busy year and many people have called me because they were worried about not having the 'Magic of Christmas'.
You see Pat and Althea, the real "Magic of Christmas" is in the love we share with one another. We may have differences sometimes, but it's that special family bond that keeps us together. So no matter where we might be or what we might be doing, we are always together. After all, that's what Christmas is all about.
On this very special day families all over the world share in celebrating a young families journey. But this young family had such a strong belief in their feelings that no matter how difficult, they would not be deterred from completing their journay. So they continued until they finally found a resting place. On this very special night they gave the world the greatest gift it has ever received. A little baby, named Jesus.
So Pat and Althea, there is no distance great enough that can keep us apart on Christmas Day.
Remember we have all been given many special gifts. We just need to believe in ourseleves and our dreams. No matter how difficult or far our journey appears to be, just know that every journey is worth taking.
So for this very special Christmas, I am going to have my elves build you a special family website so you can all share Christmas together!
Well I have to go now. I still have a lot of work to do.
Just remember Santa believes in you and loves you very much!!
Have a Merry and Wonderful Christmas!
Love, Santa.
